Alex Banayan is a speaker, venture capitalist, and (as of June 5, 2018) a published author. His new book, The Third Door, is Alex's story of how he stopped at nothing to interview some of the world's most influential people to learn the makings of success including Lady Gaga, Tim Ferriss, Warren Buffet, Steven Spielberg, and Bill Gates. Alex is a prime example of how a hungry amateur can accomplish great things in creative ways that seasoned professionals simply don't. In today's episode, we discuss the challenges Alex had to face and lessons he learned on his seven-year road to writing his book, the advantages of being an amateur, and how everyone can get what they want in life using the principle discussed in The Third Door (we also touch on the recent passing of his father and how it influences him today).
When you feel stuck or frustrated with where you are at, this book and podcast episode is an excellent reminder that "There is always a way."
